Oval shaped thick rimmed geode bowl with a swirled design.

The bowl has a thick reflective glass rim 2.5cm thick that is completely flat on top, the outside of the bowl has an organic swirled sculpted exterior showing off the sommerso red core and amber layer dramatically.

The bowl is in perfect condition and typical of designs for Seguso Ventri d’Arte in the 1940’s and 1950’s. There are many references to the modern forms with sculpted exterior and multiple sommerso layers.
