This magnificent piece looks sensational with light passing through the glass, yellows and greens catch the light beautifully this exquisite blend of colours combine to create a magnificent range of radiant sunshine tones casting divine vibrant reflections. Under black light the intensity of the uranium glass (aka Vaseline glass) has to be seen to be believed!
This dish has been perfectly shaped to show off the intensity of the colours “Day or Night!!
Stylishly curved thick lobes of glass have been formed around the body of the bowl, radiating from the base. The bowl literally glows as it reflects light off the edges of the curved lobes of glass. This wonderfully sculptural modernist work of art would make an impressive feature in any retro, modernist or Eames styled décor!
This fabulous art glass piece is presented in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. considering it’s age it has been exceptionally well cared for and displays really well, is beautifully finished with a polished flat ground base with very little wear
